GBA Links To The Past

In addition to the now infamous 'Celda' for the GameCube, Nintendo announced that it has a GBA version of Zelda in the works. Taking a cue from the Mario games, the GBA version of Zelda is a remake of the SNES game, A Link to the Past. Although not an original game, Link to the Past is regarded by many fans as one of the best Zelda adventures yet, second only to Ocarina of Time on the N64.

The GBA version sports a few graphical upgrades, as well as a cleaner look - but for the most part is the same game found on the SNES. The game will include a multi-player version of Zelda. Entitled Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, up to four players can run through a Zelda-inspired maze. The player with the most Rupees at the end of the level wins. I know what you're thinking - yes this is Gauntlet, but since I wasn't able to spend a lot of time with it, I'm not making a final decision on the game just yet.
