Sure I Can Say 2003, But 2K3 Sounds So Much Cooler

One of the things I learned about E3 is that you never know what to expect next. Of course I knew I'd get a chance to play NFL 2K3 - but I never would have expected to have the chance to play it with Greg Thomas, the president of Visual Concepts and 'Coach' of the NFL 2K series.

NFL 2K2 was an excellent game last season, especially when you consider the short development time. However, with the dawn of a new season and benefit of a full development cycle, the NFL franchise looks poised to give Madden a run for his money. One of the biggest changes this season is the addition of the ESPN license. This gives the franchise a recognizable 'name' as well as some ESPN-style camera work and graphics. Fans have little need to worry - the same great commentary from past games will still be around.

NFL 2K3 will also include an in-depth Franchise mode that gives you complete front office control of your team. In addition, Xbox and PS2 owners will be able to compete online.

Graphically, NFL 2K3 looks every bit as amazing as last year. Players look even better and animations are incredible. One of the things that was pointed out to me was how the players actually respond to where they are being hit or pushed adding even more to the game's realism.

Look for NFL 2K3 this fall for all consoles.

"...know, I really don't. I have no idea how they got there in the first place. The thing is, they weren't right. -They just weren't 'right', you know - l#ke from ##i# pla##t or su#pin'... They was way too quick and they looked like they were out of one a those 'Terminator' movies or sumpin' only with cameras and sh*t insteada guns... They moved real silent and then 'zshwishzz' - they was gone. Just like that..."
