As the latest game to the world's most popular fighting franchise on the market, Tekken 6 obviously has a lot of people excited. And when you look at the list of enhancements the developers at Namco Bandai have added to this game, it is bound to please every existing fan out there.

The most notable thing is the game roster. Not only does it include 34 previous characters, but it also adds six new ones to the list, and that's not even touching on the customizable characters players can create themselves (more on that later). But when a new fighting game comes out, fans expect more characters than previous titles, so that really isn't a bit surprise, but one thing Tekken 6 does offer that might get some players chomping at the bit is a new Co-Op Mode where friends can team up to take on A.I.-controlled enemies (both online and local).

But Co-Op isn't the only new gameplay mode being added to the Tekken franchise. A new Scenario Campaign Mode will allow players (both single-handedly or via co-op) to "experience the intense drama and large-scale battles." Though exactly what that means is unclear at the moment.

As far as the customizable character creation feature goes, players will be able to add tons of details to their creations. You will be able to give them a variety of hairstyles, clothes, accessories and even tattoos to make them your unique fighter. And those fighters can be used online in both VS Mode and Co-Op Mode.

The last big addition to the game affects the fighting stages themselves. Not only does each stage have multiple fighting areas (accessed by breaking walls or throwing enemies through floors), but the levels themselves can also be hazardous to players. Whether its vehicle explosions or an attack helicopter trying to mow you down, the stages won't just be a pretty background anymore.

Tekken 6 will hit the PSP, PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of 2009.
