I'm not the kind to rent movies, what with the many movies and games that I review, but I've seen them all over town. Those red boxes that have revolutionized the movie rental industry; Redbox has become an incredibly popular movie rental destination for homes across the nation. Now, they're expanding into the videogame market.

Redbox have begun offering videogame rentals at more than 21,000 redbox locations nationwide beginning June 17, 2011. In addition to new release movies, gamers will be able to rent videogames for $2 per day. In fact, gamers can go online to reserve their copy of the videogame they want to rent before they even leave the house. This nation-wide venture follows a successful test of videogame rentals in select U.S. markets since August 2009.

Upon launch, Redbox will feature games across the three major console platforms: PS3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360. Videogame titles will range from top releases to popular family and kids titles.
