...Realta Entertainment has a new music game that lets gamers use any real guitar to play: BandFuse: Rock Legends. One awesome difference, however, is that BandFuse: Rock Legends allows you works with real guitars, basses and microphones. I want to learn to play guitar, but I already play bass and, until now, there hasn't been a videogame that lets you use a real bass guitar and work on improving your skills.
Realta Entertainment has revealed at E3 2012 the additions of legendary Artists Zakk Wylde and Nancy Wilson to the roster of "Rock Legends" for the upcoming videogame music title, BandFuse: Rock Legends. These artists join Slash, the iconic Grammy-winning musician and former lead guitarist of Guns Nā Roses, who serves as the games master guitar instructor. Jason Hook and Zoltan Bathory from the band Five Finger Death Punch will help players navigate through game features.
Difficulty levels are handled by the BandFuse: Rock Legends' animated tabs interface, which provides novices with less complex fingerings for the songs, while providing the actual tabs for more experienced players. The sweet part? At any level, you're playing a song on an actual instrument.
Not only that, players are able to form bands and even create original music in real-time with up to three of their friends. In Free Jam Mode, experienced guitarists can jam to their heart's content, creating all-original songs by layering multiple audio tracks, while intermediate players can choose from a selection of backing tracks, then lay down their own lead, rhythm and vocal tracks in the Jam Along Mode. Then, players can actually share their recorded tracks over social networks and debut them to the world.
Attendees at E3 2012 can get their hands on a Gibson guitar and try out tracks from Slash, Living Color and Pearl Jam, Heart, The Clash, Social Distortion, All American Rejects, Alanis Morissette, The Stray Cats and Yes, by checking out Realta's booth in South Hall (#435). Others can get more information on the official BandFuse website.
BandFuse: Rock Legends will be coming to game consoles early in 2013.
