Tekken, which literally translates to "Iron Fist", is a series of arcade fighting games that traditionally was based on PlayStation hardware, with console versions first appearing on the home consoles based on the same hardware platform, and other versions releasing later. Tekken games been released on PlayStation, PS2, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo GBA (GameBoy Advance).

The storylines of the games revolve around the "King of Iron Fist" Tournament, which is hosted by an international corporation called the "Mishima Zaibatsu", with the winner of this martial arts tournament winning control of the company.
